Finally, You Can Walk Around With Fried Chicken Attached to Your Phone

Sadly, the chicken isn't real

For those who wish to protect their high-end smartphone with a case, the options usually fall in one of two camps. Minimalist cases don't do too much to hide the phone's sleek design, and bulky, clunky cases offer maximum insurance against accidental drops. Now, there's a case for anyone who wants to look like they're speaking into a piece of comfort food. Behold: the fried chicken case.

The case, produced by a company called Meerkat, is for sale on Amazon for $29.99, and it's available to fit Samsung's Galaxy S6 and S7 devices, as well as Apple's iPhone 5, 5S, 6, 6 Plus, 6S, and 6S Plus. This isn't an actual piece of fried chicken attached to the case, but if reviews are to be believed, it looks just like the real thing.

This is definitely something unique and a conversation starter! It does in fact look like some fried chicken. And the clear case that it's glued to is way better then I expected. I honestly find the piece of chicken more of a useful object then just a conversation starter. The only down side is the price, it would get 5 stars if it were $20-$25

It's hard to tell who, exactly, fits into the target demographic for a fried chicken phone case, but don't be surprised if KFC finds a way to fit this into one of its Millennial-focused marketing campaigns. Not a fan of fried chicken? Perhaps Meerkat's shrimp sushi case is the perfect phone accessory for you.
