Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg Are Hosting a VH1 'Dinner Party’

This is not a drill

What does the guest list for your fantasy dinner party look like? If it involves lifestyle queen Martha Stewart and rapper turned pop culture icon Snoop Dogg, you're in luck: That glorious dream is now coming true in the form of a reality show.

According to Variety, the duo is starring in a new, unscripted VH1 series aptly called Martha & Snoop's Dinner Party.

"At our dinner party, we will exemplify America’s fascination with food, entertaining and celebrity," Stewart said in a press release. "‘Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party’ will redesign the traditional food competition shows in a new, different and very funny way."

"My homegirl, Martha and I have a special bond that goes back," Snoop Dogg is quoted as saying. We’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!" (Those "exclusive" friends will presumably not include Martha nemeses Gwyneth Paltrow or Bethenny Frankel.)

Will Snoop learn the finer points of coordinating napkin rings to tablecloths? Will Stewart learn to roll the perfect joint? One of the executive producer's resumes includes shows such as Jersey Shore and subsequent spinoff Snooki & Jwoww, so — brace. Martha & Snoop's Dinner Party is set to premiere this fall.

Here's a brief look at the wonders sure to come, courtesy of Snoop Dogg's 2009 appearance on Martha Stewart Living:
