My original post was about how legitimately a tip pool was being handled by the owner of a restaurant. Recently, my friend called the NLRB and asked about the issue. The CSR (out of Portland, OR) told her that restaurant owners can do whatever they with a tip pool. There is no issue. I was kind of surprised based on my orginal post:
Based on my original post, it seemed most people here questioned how the tip pool was being handled. I am wondering if she asked the right questions when she called. Is there any chance someone might be able to tee up a couple of points here for me so I can pass em on and see if it goes anywhere?
