McDonald's Delves Into Athleisure With Egg McMuffin Track Suits

Only available in Australia and already sold out, tragically

Big Macs and physical activity may seem at odds with one another, but McDonald's has managed to unite them into one brightly colored, polyester package. Clearly inspired by Olympics fever, the fast food giant — which is a global sponsor of the Games — has created a special line of athleisure wear, AdNews reports.

The limited edition "Legendswear" — only available in Australia, sorry — consists of a zip-up hooded vest and track pants; from far away, the ensemble looks like an average tracksuit, but a closer look at the pattern reveals a swath of burgers, pancakes, hash browns, and other menu items surreptitiously hidden amid the palm fronds and flowers. Sadly, both pieces quickly sold out; the polyester attire was designed and made in Australia, and all proceeds went to the Ronald McDonald House charities.

However weird, McDonald's is hardly the first restaurant chain to hawk food-themed clothing: Denny's sold out of limited-edition breakfast attire like this bacon scarf, and Pizza Hut attempted to win the hearts of millennials with items like a "Pizza is bae" sweatshirt and pizza-print socks. Clearly Australians aren't the only one who want to proudly display their affinity for greasy foods.
